The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
As I stood on the shore of a local pond photographing geese perhaps 40 yards away, this goose paddled up to shore, waddled out of the water, and walked right up to me. The lens I had on the camera was for long shots so I could not focus on the goose when it was that close to me. I had to cautiously move back several feet to get focus. It was then it decided to turn its head and give a nice profile.
